# Reviews

> Ask happy customers for a public review and hear from unhappy ones in private.

A few hours after an appointment, the assistant asks how it went.

</Frame>

## How it works

<Steps>
  <Step title="The assistant asks for a rating from 1 to 5">
    At the time you choose after the visit, for example 3 hours.
  </Step>

  <Step title="4 or 5: the review link">
    Happy customers get the link to the business's Google or other review page (1).
  </Step>

  <Step title="1 to 3: what went wrong">
    Unhappy customers are asked what went wrong, privately (2), and your team gets an alert to put it right.
  </Step>
</Steps>

With **Ask how it went first** off, everyone gets the review link straight away.

## Set it up

On **Reviews**, paste the review link (for Google: Google Business Profile → Ask for reviews → copy the link), choose how many hours after the visit to ask, and switch it on.

<Tip>
  After a 4 or 5, the assistant can also invite the customer to [bring a friend](/grow-sales/bring-a-friend). Happy customers are the best ones to ask.
</Tip>

<Warning>
  Call back unhappy customers the same day. A quick, personal reply often turns a 2 into a returning customer.
