# Answers to approve

> Every morning the assistant drafts answers to what it didn't know, quality fixes, the owner's changes and website changes. Approve each with a tap.

Every morning each assistant drafts answers for the team to approve with one tap: questions customers asked that it couldn't answer, the [quality check](/build-the-assistant/quality-check)'s fixes, the client's change requests and what changed on the client's website. Open **To approve** in the assistant's menu.

## What's on the list

| Label | Where it comes from |
| - | - |
| Customers asked | Questions the assistant couldn't answer, grouped when they mean the same thing, with how many times they were asked |
| Quality check fix | A fix the weekly quality check suggested |
| Owner's change | Something the business owner asked to change from their portal, turned into an answer |
| Website changed | A price, opening hour, service or contact that the website now shows differently |

The list is made at about 5:00 in the business's time zone, and you get an alert when there's something new. **Make the list now** builds it straight away. The home page's **Needs you** list shows how many answers are waiting.

## Approve an answer

<Steps>
  <Step title="Read the draft">
    The answer is written only from what the assistant knows. A fact it doesn't have is left in \[square brackets] for you to fill in, for example \[the price]. It never invents prices, times or promises.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fill in the gaps and edit">
    You can't approve while anything is still in brackets.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve, or skip">
    **Approve** adds the answer to the knowledge, or updates the answer it replaces, and closes what it came from. For customer questions, **Approve and send to who asked** also sends it to the people who asked in the last 7 days. **Skip** only takes it off the list; it isn't proposed again for 30 days.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Business owners see the same list in their portal (**To approve**) and can approve answers themselves.

## The weekly website check

Add the client's website under **Weekly website check** (4). Once a week it's read again and compared with what the assistant knows. When prices, hours, services, contact details or booking rules differ, the change shows up on the list with what the website says and what the assistant says now. Approving updates the old answer instead of adding a second one.

The website is filled in for you when quick setup reads a website or the client gives one in the [intake form](/getting-started/client-intake-form). If the site can't be read one week, it's simply tried again the next.

<Tip>
  Two minutes with your morning coffee: approve what's right, fill in what's missing. Every answer you approve is one the assistant never gets wrong again.
