# Sign up for an agency account

> Create your agency's account, confirm your email, use the free trial and choose how to pay.

When the platform offers it, you can create your agency's account yourself and start with a free trial. Click **Start free trial** on the website, or **Start a free trial** under **New here?** on the sign-in page.

If the page says **Sign-up is closed**, new agencies can't sign up on their own right now. Use **Contact us** to ask the platform to set up your account for you.

## Fill in the form

<Steps>
  <Step title="Check the plan">
    The top of the page shows the plan you start on: its name, price, how many assistants it allows and how long the free trial is. It also says whether a card is needed to start.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Type your details">
    Fill in **Your name**, **Agency name**, **Email** and a **Password** of at least 8 characters. You become the agency's admin, so use the email you'll sign in with.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Accept the terms">
    Tick the box to accept the terms of service and confirm you've read the privacy policy. Both open in a new tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Create account">
    The page then says **Check your email** and shows the address the link went to.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Confirm your email

Open the email **Confirm your email to start Demo Studio** (with your agency's name) and click **Confirm my email**. Your agency's account opens straight away and you're signed in to the dashboard as its admin. The [in-app guide](/getting-started/in-app-guide) shows you around, and the [Quick start](/getting-started/quick-start) walks you through your first assistant.

Until you confirm, the account can't be used. Signing in shows **Confirm your email first**.

### The email didn't arrive

* Look in the spam folder.
* Click **Send the link again** on the **Check your email** screen. You can ask again every 60 seconds.
* Or sign in with your email and password: the message about confirming has the same **Send the link again** button.

Each new link replaces the older one, so always use the newest email.

### Sending the form again

If you fill in the form again with the same email before confirming it, the newest form counts: its name, agency name and password replace the earlier ones. The link then asks for your password too (**Enter your password**). Type the password from the newest form and click **Open my account**. If you don't remember it, fill in the form once more and use the link from that email.

### The link has expired

The link works for 48 hours and only once. An old or used link opens **This link no longer works**. Type your email and click **Send a new link**.

Accounts that are never confirmed are deleted after about two days. To use the same email after that, fill in the form again.

<Note>
  If you already have an account with that email, nothing new is created. You get an email saying so, with links to sign in and to choose a new password.
</Note>

## What the trial includes

The trial starts when you confirm your email. Your agency gets everything the plan includes: the number of assistants, the features and any included AI. Invite your team on the **Users** page, add clients and build assistants as you would on a paid plan.

**Settings → Plan** shows your plan and when the trial ends. From five days before the end you also see a banner at the top of every page, and three days before you get an email.

## Adding a card

If the platform asks for a card before the trial starts, the dashboard opens on your plan page after you confirm your email. It says **Add a card to start your free trial** and shows when the trial ends.

Click **Add a card** and enter it on the payment provider's own page. Your account turns on as soon as the provider confirms the subscription. Nobody on the platform sees your card details.

| Payment provider | When you're charged |
| - | - |
| Stripe | The first charge comes when the trial ends |
| WayForPay | The first period is charged at once, and the trial days are added to it |

The trial days count from the email confirmation, also while you haven't added a card yet.

Without a card up front, you can subscribe at any time from **Settings → Plan** with **Subscribe**.

## When the trial ends

If you haven't subscribed by the end of the trial, your plan page asks for payment and you get a few grace days to pay. After that, the platform can pause your agency: assistants stop answering, and only admins can sign in, to pay. Nothing is deleted, and everything turns back on as soon as you pay.

To move to another plan, click **Change plan** on **Settings → Plan**, if the platform lets agencies change plan themselves. See [What the agency sees](/running-the-agency/plans#what-the-agency-sees).
