# Client plans

> Plans your clients pay you automatically, so business owners never pay by hand each month.

With **client plans**, a business pays your agency automatically every month or year. You make a few plans (for example "Basic" and "Pro"), choose one for each client, and the money goes straight to your own Stripe or WayForPay account.

  Being built in steps. Today you set up your payment account and your plans, and choose a plan for each client. Next, business owners subscribe from the **Billing** page of their [client portal](/client-portal). Until then nobody is charged, and clients without a plan are billed as before on the [Billing](/running-the-agency/billing) page.

## Connect your payment account

Open **Settings → Client plans**. Under **How your clients pay you**, pick **Stripe** or **WayForPay**. This is your agency's own account, not the one your clients use to take [online payments](/grow-sales/online-payments) from their customers.

    1. In Stripe, open **Developers → API keys** and copy the secret key.
    2. Open **Developers → Webhooks**, add the **Webhook address** shown in InstaForge, and choose the events listed under it.
    3. Copy the webhook's signing secret.
    4. Paste both into InstaForge and click **Use Stripe**.

    Also save the **Customer portal** settings in Stripe once (**Settings → Billing → Customer portal**): business owners use it to change their card, see invoices or cancel.

    For a business in Ukraine. Fill in the merchant account, its secret key and the website your store is registered with, then click **Use WayForPay**. The merchant password is only needed to stop a client's charges when they cancel.

## Make your plans

Click **New plan** and set:

* **Name and price**, monthly or yearly, in any currency.
* **Monthly AI budget**: the price already includes the AI cost, so the client never pays for AI separately. The budget is what each of the client's assistants may spend on AI a month, in US dollars. Leave it empty for no limit.
* **Free trial**: how many days before the first charge. 0 charges straight away.
* **Included features**: what the client's assistants and portal can use on this plan, such as bookings, the shop or broadcasts. Only features your own plan includes are shown.
* **Offered to clients**: switch it off to stop offering a plan. Clients already on it keep it.

A plan with clients on it can't be deleted: move them to another plan first.

## Choose a client's plan

Open the client and pick a plan under **Plan**. **No plan (billed by hand)** keeps the client on the monthly fee and payment link from [Billing](/running-the-agency/billing).

## When a client doesn't pay

After a trial ends or a payment fails, you get an alert and the client is marked unpaid after the **Grace days** you set. Their assistants keep answering: a business's customers never meet a silent assistant because a card expired.
